Currently located in San Diego, Island Nomad, a Pacific Seacraft 40, is being offered by her only owner for $298,000. (Principles Only)
Pacific Seacraft 40, hull number 16, was built in 1997 with many factory upgrades to improve upon the standard voyager package. Island Nomad was launched and commissioned in Southern California, August 1997. The first 5 years she sailed in Southern California waters with three extended cruises along the Pacific Coast of Mexico. In 2002, Island Nomad embarked on her 10 year circumnavigation, completing it in 2012 when she arrived back in San Diego.
Pacific Seacraft’s reputation as a true blue water voyager has been well proven by her owner. Many additions, improvements, and replacements have been made, not only to enhance her ability for worldwide cruising, but also for the ease of single handed/short handed sailing in safety and comfort.
Island Nomad must be seen to appreciate how well she has been maintained and how completely she is equipped. This Pacific Seacraft 40 is ready for any plans her future owner may have from coastal waters cruising to blue water ocean crossings.
